Early customers loved Ledgerly’s models but lived in CSV exports. Onboarding took a professional-services week. Every new module copied UI patterns by hand. Enterprise buyers asked for SSO, audit logs, and data isolation the codebase could not yet prove.

Introduced tenancy, identity, and an audit log as platform primitives, not features bolted to one module.

Rebuilt the UI on a shared design system with empty, error, and import states designed in.

Designed a guided import and mapping flow so a finance lead can start without a consultant.

Set a staging-to-production pipeline with tenant-aware test data.
Outcome
New customers reach first value without a services engagement. Enterprise security questionnaires have evidence behind them. The product team ships modules on a shared foundation.
