Challenge
Shop owners in Bangladesh were splitting the day across a notebook, a browser till that stalled when the net dropped, and marketplace or social orders that never shared a catalog. Cash, bKash, Nagad, Bangla QR, couriers, and Bangla UI are not extras on this market — they are the job. A generic web POS could not keep the counter selling offline or keep stock, money, and delivery in one record.
Approach
- 01
Shipped native Android and Windows apps with local-first cache so the counter stays usable on a weak network, then syncs the same store and books.
- 02
Modeled one catalog, parties, and ledger so in-house sales, webstore, marketplace, and social orders meet at one order desk.
- 03
Built mixed tender on a single bill — cash, card, MFS, bank, QR, due, and voucher — with Bangla QR–ready online checkout.
- 04
Launched a2bpos.com for English/Bangla marketing, email-OTP accounts, and Taka billing across Basic, Growth, and Enterprise plans.
Outcome
Shops can run the floor on phone or desktop alone, grow into e-commerce without changing systems, and keep stock and books consistent. The product is live at a2bpos.com.
